Position Title: Grants Management Intern
Reports to: Grants Manager
Department: Finance
Location: Kigali, Rwanda.
Position Overview
The Grants Management Intern will assist the Grants Management Team in managing grants throughout their entire lifecycle, including application, reporting, and close-out processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain hands-on experience in grants management, donor relations, and administrative tasks.
The Grants Management Intern will report to the Grants Manager and work closely with the Grants Management Team members.
Responsibilities
● Maintain and update the grants tracking system.
● Prepare regular updates and reports for internal stakeholders on grant progress.
● Provide logistical support for grant-related meetings and events.
● Participate in compliance and audit activities, ensuring adherence to grant terms and conditions.
● Contribute to the development and renewal of grants proposals.
● Organize meetings, facilitate conference calls, and share minutes promptly.
● Help coordinate communication with grantors and partners to ensure alignment with the program goals and reporting requirements.
● Participate in the Due Diligence process.
● Assist in the development and maintenance of grant-related documents.
● Assist in the preparation of the financial reports.
● Support the Grant Management Team in reviewing funding proposals and documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Qualifications
● Recently completed a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical competencies
● Demonstrated strength in relevant computer software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
● Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Kinyarwanda is preferred.
