Work for the IMF. Work for the World.

The Information, Resilience, and Services (CSFIR) division of the Corporate Services and Facilities Department of the IMF provides a diverse portfolio of services including IMF-wide Resilience and Business Continuity functions, Data and Information Services, and several high-touch, client-facing services including, Fitness and Wellness Center, Shipping Services, Mail Services, and Occupational, Health & Safety (OHS) and Staff Accommodations Services. Additionally, the division collaborates with key stakeholders on environmental sustainability at the IMF to enhance efficiency in IMF’s operations.

The division is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist in change management, communications and engagement, and data management—someone who can synthesize information, manage simple workflows, and support change management, communications, and data‑governance tasks across CSFIR. An intern supporting the division will gain hands‑on experience at the intersection of organizational change, strategic communications, and data management, all within a dynamic, service‑oriented division that underpins key Fund operations. Through direct contributions to CSFIR initiatives, the intern will develop a strong mix of analytical, operational, and communication skills.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Change Management (Readiness, Service Adoption, Measurement):

  • Contribute to stakeholder analyses, impact assessments, and readiness tracking for CSFIR projects; synthesize findings into short, actionable briefs.
  • Draft and maintain simple change plans for pilot/soft‑launch and broader rollouts; support success‑metric definition and after‑action reviews.
  • Prepare training and reinforcement materials and coordinate logistics with project teams.
  • Participate in the development and rollout of a change management strategy for transition of service provider and vendor partners.

    Communications & Engagement:

    • Support IR’s quarterly communications calendar—collect inputs from CSFIR sections, draft blurbs, and route content to focal points in the CSF Communications Council.
    • Develop clear, audience‑specific messages for CSFIR activities.
    • Set up lightweight feedback loops, consolidate responses, and translate insights into recommendations for engagement or training.
