JOB TITLE: Finance Officer, NO-A
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fixed Term
UNIT/DIVISION: Finance Unit
DUTY STATION (City, Country): Dili, Timor-Leste
DURATION: 12 months (with the possibility of extension)
THE ROLE
To support the stewardship of WFP’s resources, monitoring budgets, forecasting, reporting on key data and providing basic administrative and human resource functions that enable effective management of funds and ensure assistance to beneficiaries is undertaken in the most efficient and effective way possible.
The Finance Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Deputy Country Director with an overall supervision from the Country Director. He/she will receive overall functional guidance from the Finance Unit at the Regional Office.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
Advanced university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or First University degree in the same subject(s) with additional two years of related work experience.
