Draft content for IOM Ukraine’s social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) and provide social media marketing (SMM) support to the wide range of the Mission programmes and projects. 2. Assist with social media analytics to track and enhance IOM Ukraine social presence.
3.Contribute to IOM HQ social media communication by drafting unique content and by adapting IOM global messages for local audiences in Ukraine.
4. Support supervision of paid social media campaigns, as well as analyze and improve metrics for social media campaign effectiveness.
5. In coordination with all thematic units in the Mission and the National Communications Officer, prepare storytellers, news updates, press announcements and press releases.
6. Contribute to the visibility of IOM activities in Kyiv Region by conducting interviews with key stakeholders and beneficiaries, taking photos and videos, drafting communications materials and reaching out to local media.
7. Assist with editing the content supplied from IOM field hubs and partners (IPs, media market companies, etc.) to ensure compliance with IOM communication standards and relevance of the narratives for different audiences.
8. Create banners, posters, videos, stories and other visuals for social media as well as infosheets, using professional graphic design programmes in line with IOM brandbook guidelines.
9. Facilitate compliance with donor requirements for social media.
10. Support National Communications Officer in preparation of communications coverage reports for various donors.
11. Prepare media monitoring reports on the issues relevant to IOM Ukraine’s scope of work and expertise.
12. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Education - High school diploma with five years of relevant experience; or,
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Social or Political Sciences or related fields from an accredited institution with three years of relevant professional experience. Experience
- Experience in media, PR, and administrative duties;
- Knowledge of the work of international organizations, humanitarian and development context is an advantage Skills
- Confident writing and editing skills in Ukrainian and English.
- Confident use of professional graphic design programmes (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) and Publisher.
- Knowledge and understanding of the social media algorithms, ability to analyze the target audience needs and develop targeted and clear messages based on audience’s needs. Languages
- Fluency in English and Ukrainian (oral and written).
