Project Context and Scope
To support weekly Displacement Tracking Matrix and Flow Monitoring Surveys data collection exercise and contribute to supporting IOM’s work on prevention of irregular migration.
Organizational Department / Unit to which the Consultant is contributing IOM Kosovo, Migration Management Unit - Contribution to Support IOM’s Work on Prevention of Irregular Migration Multiple available positions in the following locations:
- Enumerator-Prizren
- Enumerator-Podujeve
- Enumerator- Hani i Elezit Tasks to be performed under this contract
- Examine and process data into simple forms in accordance with DTM guidelines;
- In coordination with the DTM focal point develop a plan to cover all the sites that are expected to access within the geographical scope of work in coordination with the DTM focal point;
- To receive adequate training and understand and assimilate all surveys;
- To include in the online application all surveys approved by the DTM;
- To inform the DTM focal point of any change or emergency about migrants’ movements in the geographical scope of work, or events that may affect the migrants for any reason;
- Investigate the sources of data to obtain reliable data by taking them from multiple sources to reach the most accurate results;
- Conduct as many Flow Monitoring surveys as estimated by the DTM focal point, targeting migrants inside and outside of the designated temporary reception centers assigned in a dignified environment, while respecting protection principles, in particular when interviewing persons with specific needs;
- To provide information on irregular migration risks and regular migration alternatives;
- To adhere to the documents and securities of the organization;
- Be responsible to respect assessment deadlines as per IOM DTM guidelines;
- The service area: To cover certain locations within the Prizren Region and be aware of all the sites, to be covered within the geographical scope of work;
- Perform any other duties assigned by direct supervisor. Performance indicators for the evaluation of results

- High school degree in social and economic sciences is required, preferably in social and economics, public administration, labour market development, migration, or human resources development. Experience
- Relevant experience with data collection and community projects
- Previous experience working in the field of the migration is preferable Languages
- Fluency in English and Albanian is required. IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish. Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments. Travel required
