NRC’s education program aims to provide safe and inclusive learning opportunities for the most conflict affected children and young people in the West Bank and Gaza. In Gaza in 2024, this includes delivering an Education in Emergencies (EiE) portfolio focused on mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) and supporting a return to learning for conflict- and displacement-affected children, while also planning for long-term education programming for children and youth. Aspects of the EiE program include rapid emergency training to education facilitators/instructors, engagement with parents/caregivers, provision of MHPSS and structured recreational sessions, provision of education NFI, provision of learning sessions, and establishment and operation of Temporary Learning Spaces (TLSs).
The purpose of the Information Management officer position is to support the Education department’s learning, project and programme management with data collection, quality control and reporting, as well as assist in the thematic implementation of the Education program in Gaza.
