Work LocationHome-based with travel Expected duration7 months Duties and Responsibilities(• ) Deliver workshops on threat assessments on the use of new technologies for terrorist purposes to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and draft recommendations for the improvement of the approaches. (• ) Deliver workshops on identification of counter-terrorism policy responses to address the threats stemming from the use of new technologies for terrorist purposes for Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and draft recommendations for improvement. Qualifications/special skillsAdvanced University Degree (Masters or equivalent) in ICT, law, criminal justice counter-terrorism or in a related area. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. A minimum of 15 years of established expertise in report drafting, publications on and/or is part of a distinguished expert community in counter-terrorism, law enforcement, criminal justice or related expertise is required. Proven experience in developing counter-terrorism threat assessment, strategies and policies is required. International experience with advising and delivering capacity building assistance to national law enforcement and criminal justice authorities is required.
