Project Context and Scope
Within the framework of various projects and activities implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Tajikistan, the organization aims to strengthen its communication and outreach efforts to enhance visibility, promote key messages, and reach diverse audiences.
The Content Creator will support the visibility and communication needs of IOM’s various initiatives and projects, producing creative, high-quality visual and written content that highlights project objectives, showcases results, and amplifies the voices of beneficiaries.
A key annual event for IOM is International Migrants Day, celebrated on 18 December, which serves as an important platform to raise awareness of migration issues, celebrate migrant contributions, and promote safe migration. The consultancy will play a vital role in supporting the information campaign for International Migrants Day 2025, developing engaging content tailored to diverse audiences and helping maximize the campaign’s outreach.
To achieve these goals, IOM Tajikistan is seeking to engage a qualified Content Creator who will produce high-quality visual materials, support content preparation and dissemination for the International Migrants Day campaign and assist in managing IOM’s social media platforms to boost engagement and visibility across all activities.

Bachelor’s or higher degree in design or similar field from an accredited educational institution with two years of relevant professional experience.
Experience Proven experience in photography, videography, and content creation (portfolio required). Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is an asset. Knowledge of migration, development, or humanitarian topics is desirable Skills Proficiency in video and photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop). Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Fluency in Tajik and Russian required; knowledge of English is an advantage. Languages English, Tajik, Russian IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish. Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
