About this position

Join our Human Resources Department to help shape the future of talent for the IDB Group. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Recruiting Coordinator to serve as the backbone for the Talent Attraction team supporting all aspects of the talent attraction lifecycle. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in talent acquisition and human resources and contribute to our high-performing cross-border team.

The Human Resources Department (HRD) is responsible for the administration and development of the human resources in the IDB Group. It also oversees the implementation of the Human Capital Strategy” building and implementing programs and methodologies in direct support of our results-based business model and focusing on the development of the IDB Group’s talent and technical skills capacity.

What you’ll do

  • Support Recruitment Processes: Assist in the coordination of all recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, and maintaining our applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors).
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive experience for all candidates by providing timely updates and maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Job Postings and Advertising: Help draft and post job descriptions on various platforms to attract top talent.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and other HR professionals within the department to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all candidate interactions and recruitment activities, generating reports as needed.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating recruitment events, such as career fairs and networking events, that take place in the Caribbean and Latin America.

    What you'll need

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in human resources, business, public relations, communications, psychology, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
    • Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience in human resources or a related field.
    • Languages: Proficiency in English is required, with a preference for additional language skills in one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese).

        Requirements

        • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
        • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
