Project Context and Scope
In 2022 IOM started implementation of the regional ‘Labour Migration Programme – Central Asia’ funded by the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency (SDC) with an objective to contribute to enhancing labour migration governance to better respond to employer and labour market needs and skills matching while ensuring protection of migrant workers and enhancing development impacts in countries of origin and destination. SDC funded regional project Labour Migration Programme - Central Asia , Phase I (LM0479) Tasks to be performed under this contract
- Provide expert advice on labour migration issues and policy;
- Support with analysis to evaluate project programming and propose solutions/improvements;
- Provide training and educational support on trends, policies, standards and practices in labour migration. Performance indicators for the evaluation of results

- University degree in relevant field/s. Experience
- At least 5 years of working experience in migration. Skills
- Extensive knowledge of labour migration context in Kyrgyzstan;
- Extensive knowledge of government progranmmes related to migration. Languages
- Excellent command of oral and written Kyrgyz and Russian languages IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish. Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments. Travel required
