The communication associate will help in the implementation of the advocacy and communication strategy on climate change and food security under Adaptation fund project in consideration of gender equity and social inclusion principles.
Under the immediate supervision of the Project Coordinator and overall guidance of WFP Communications unit in collaboration with Information Departments in the Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Environment and Forestry (including Lesotho Meteorological Services) ,Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition, the Communication Associate will perform the following duties:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Post high school diploma in communications/mass media communications /international relations
Experience: A minimum six years' professional experience in communications/ journalism/public relations field.
