NRC Libya is looking to hire a Cash and Livelihoods Technical Assistant who will be conducting day-to-day activities under cash and livelihoods programs. The Cash and Livelihoods TA will be directly supervising the volunteers. Under the supervision of the PM and the cash and livelihoods officer, s/he will ensure that the conduct assessment and registration, hold the cash card inventory, conduct the distribution, monitoring and troubleshooting of technical card issues, as well as implementing livelihoods and assets recovery support activities.

Specific responsibilities
Conduct vulnerability assessments and protection monitoring assessments. Carry out Cash and assets distribution, including the preparation of the distribution site, distribution of the cards, checking and filing any necessary documents. Manage the facilitation of livelihoods related trainings, and coordination with service providers and stakeholders. Support the team leader and officer in field level coordination with procurement team and logistics. Direct communication and follow ups with beneficiaries of the cash and livelihoods activities. Report updates, achievements and challenges to the officer and team leader. Conduct data collection exercises and post distribution monitoring surveys. Ensure all cash distribution activities are well documented by collecting and archiving proof of receipt and proof of beneficiaries’ identities. Carry out and supervise distribution activities for cash to vulnerable families in collective centres, camps, or urban settings. Ensure the management of the cash card inventory is done on regular basis and in an accurate manner. Conduct household level M&E activities specifically related to the technical aspects of project implementation. Perform any other task relevant to the position as requested by the line manager.Critical interfaces
