Job Overview: The Case Coordination Supervisor manages staff providing direct client services within the Case Coordination Program. This role is responsible for planning and implementing programming, coordinating service delivery, supervising staff, and ensuring program goals are achieved. The Supervisor also manages compliance, reporting, and budgetary responsibilities for the assigned portfolio. The position is based in Phoenix, AZ, with a regular onsite presence required.

Core Service Delivery

Guide the implementation of the Case Coordination program and ensure all services are completed in a timely manner. Support staff in monitoring client progress, evaluating effectiveness of the care plan and making adjustments as needed. Advocate for client needs and facilitate access to appropriate resources and services. These resources and services may include employability and employment security services, family stability support, housing stability support, urgent healthcare services, legal services, and other public benefits and services for which clients are eligible. Collaborate with other departments to encourage timely internal and external referrals.

Partnership Building

Identify and maintain relationships with local government and community-based organizations with the goal of connecting clients with necessary benefits and services.

Documentation, Reporting and Contract Compliance

Ensure that case file documentation is maintained in compliance with contract requirements. Guide the timely implementation of program updates as needed. Assist with the preparation for all monitoring visits including IRC, state, and federal agencies. Monitor program execution to ensure compliance with all funding requirements; communicate program needs to management team.

Staff Supervision and Other Responsibilities

Supervise casework staff, including oversight of caseloads, work delegation, and coaching. Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback. Cultivate a respectful, supportive, and inclusive environment for team members and clients. Recruit, train, and manage team in accordance with IRC’s People Manager Standards. Provide daily oversight of active caseload, maintaining close communication with staff regarding challenging cases. Carry out timely, professional interventions to ensure responsive, appropriate, and client-centered service delivery. Represent IRC in public, professional, and governmental forums as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in social work or related field

Work Experience:

Minimum two years of experience implementing domestic refugee resettlement or similar programs Experience supervising, supporting, and training staff strongly preferred Experience in program management and responsibility for budget management preferred

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-cultural environment Excellent written and oral communications skills in English; proficiency in a language spoken by client populations a plus

Language Skills:

Proficiency in English required; bilingual ability in Spanish, Dari, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Arabic, French, or other refugee/immigrant language preferred.

Certificates or Licenses:

Valid driver’s license, active insurance policy, and access to reliable transportation. Must possess or be eligible for a fingerprint clearance card per Arizona state law.

Working Environment:

A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Must be able to lift 35–50 pounds (furniture, household supplies, food boxes).

Compensation: (Pay Range: $60,500 - $60,840**)** Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
