Job Overview: The Case Aide provides trauma-informed services to refugees and other qualified immigrants to support a positive resettlement experience and long-term self-sufficiency. This role assists clients in accessing essential services, supports caseworkers in implementing service plans, and facilitates connections to community resources. The Case Aide plays a vital role in helping clients overcome barriers, stay engaged with their individualized plans, and navigate complex systems while ensuring accurate documentation and strong communication with partners.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist clients in accessing essential services such as housing, healthcare, transportation, childcare, and other resources. Support caseworkers in implementing individualized self-sufficiency and employability plans through encouragement, reminders, and practical support. Facilitate connections to community programs that promote integration and economic stability; help clients utilize available resources effectively. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and input information into internal databases. Communicate and coordinate effectively with IRC staff, service providers, and community partners to enhance service delivery. Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments, job interviews, and service agencies as needed. Assist with referrals, scheduling, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth service delivery. Provide interpretation services when qualified and appropriate. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma required;

Work Experience:

At least 1 year of relevant experience strongly preferred. Experience working with refugee or immigrant populations preferred.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

Strong relationship-building, diplomacy, and networking skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented. Problem-solver with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital tools for data entry and research. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required; proficiency in refugee/immigrant languages preferred.

Certificates or Licenses:

Valid driver’s license, active insurance policy, and access to reliable transportation. Must possess or be eligible to receive a fingerprint clearance card per Arizona state law.

Working Environment***:***

A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. May require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Must be able to lift 35 to 50 pounds (furniture, household supplies, and food boxes).

Compensation: (Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00**)**Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
