Undertake general research (including policy and sector issues, best practices, and business process), write scripts to collect and clean data from various sources, and conduct data analysis using Python, SQL, or other business intelligence tools for sovereign operations. Prepare and develop reports and presentations as requested by management to support decision-making process using various office applications, especially PowerPoints, and business intelligence and illustration tools (e.g., power BI or Tableau). Experience with Python visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly, Seaborn) is highly preferred. Help coordinate inputs for overall reporting on sector-specific trust funds requested by internal and external clients, leveraging automation through Python scripts or APIs where possible. Coordinate the preparation of Sectors Departments-wide work programs, budgets, and annual/mid-year reports. Support the Sectors Departments’ delivery of knowledge products and events and assist in preparing briefing notes and presentation materials for workshops, conferences, meetings, and seminars. Support human resource administration including learning and development and talent management. Coordinate the preparation of BIOC’s work programs, budget and annual/mid-year reports. Support in the development and maintenance of BIOC’s websites, SharePoint sites and related database. Experience in data integration across platforms is an advantage. Coordinate with other departments and external agencies, as necessary. Perform other tasks as assigned and reflected in the incumbent’s workplan.

Qualifications

You will need:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline, preferably with advanced training. Minimum of 8 years relevant professional experience, preferably in data analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence roles using Python, SQL, and BI tools. Familiarity with the operations, policies, and procedures of multilateral financing institutions, and experience in processing and implementation of projects. Strong interpersonal, conceptual, and analytical skills, including experience cleaning, transforming, and analyzing large datasets using Python and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and experience working with large datasets and automating repetitive data tasks.
