Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Business Intelligence Analyst is assigned to the Office of Business Intelligence and Operations Coordination (BIOC). BIOC aims to deliver improved data governance and facilitate efficient data handling practices to drive organizational efficiency. BIOC will coordinate data capture throughout the project cycle and conduct analysis across the three Sectors Departments (SDs) and the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department (CCSD) to support decision-making.
You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to the designated technical international staff and senior technical local staff.
Your Role
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will provide technical data analysis and coding-based support on sovereign operations covering all areas of the ADB project cycle, including programming, portfolio management and evaluation. Working closely with all the sector offices, CCSD and regional departments (RDs), you will contribute to the development and management of business intelligence solutions and use code-driven approaches to transform data into actionable insights to support management decisions. You will provide oversight support in coordinating and consolidating information to achieve a specific functional result.

You will need:
Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, business administration, or related disciplines. At least 5 years of work experience, preferably in data analytics, business intelligence, or as a data specialist using Python. Familiar with good industry practices and guidelines within area of expertise. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, clean, code-wrangle, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information. Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-cultural skills. Sound understanding of ADB procedures and practices related to TA and loan/grant project processing and administration. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau); experience with Jupyter Notebooks and Git preferred.
