Information technology is an integral part of the strategic initiatives for all the Core Business Functions at IFC. Corporate Information Technologies (CIT) Teams provide comprehensive IT support for IFC's Investment and Advisory Services, Financial Operations, Treasury, and the Asset Management Company. A robust engagement model with the business ensures prioritization of the business requirements and focus on delivery. The application landscape encompasses a wide variety of In-house and customized COTS products that meet the business needs of IFC departments.
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and versatile Product Owner will who collaborate with users and business partners to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements; define the product vision and use inspection and adaptation to iterate through versions; create a product roadmap; oversee all stages of product creation including design and development; manage the product backlog and prioritize based on changing requirements; and use data to monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process. 
The product owner will also write effective user stories, consult with the product team and end users to deliver updates, participate in scrum meetings and product sprints, use feedback loops to get information about the product from real users, and rely on analytics to make data-driven decisions. We are looking for an individual who will bring a sense of client and product obsession to the team, ensure that our solutions meet or exceed expectations, and deliver tangible business value.

Duties and Responsibilities 
Stakeholder Engagement •   Engage with business stakeholders to fully understand their needs and challenges and translate them into viable product requirements and features. •   Function as the subject matter expert on the product and advise clients on Agile practices. •   Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
Product Strategy and Vision •   Play a critical role in elaborating the functional needs and providing clients with deep domain/product expertise. •   Develop, oversee, and manage product strategy and new product development for the assigned products. •   Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals of the operations space. Backlog Management •   Prioritize and oversee the product backlog, ensuring the team remains focused on delivering optimal value. •   Define user stories and acceptance criteria for product features and enhancements. 
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Product Teams •   Understand the integration requirements for the business processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features and requirements. •   Proactively identify risks and issues impacting product delivery and work with the team to mitigate them. 
Solution Assessment, Delivery, and Validation •   Drive the product execution to bring the product vision to life in collaboration with solution architects, developers, designers, and other cross-functional teams when applicable. •   Participate in validating and testing new features and enhancements to verify that they fulfill the intended business needs. •   Ensure that all product releases meet quality standards and business requirements. •   Regularly evaluate progress toward story acceptance criteria, including compliance with established quality criteria, such as the scalable definition of done, and nonfunctional requirements. 

Selection Criteria

•   Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience.•   Proven experience as a Product Owner or Sr. Business Analyst in any domain. •   A minimum of 3 years of experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and a strong understanding of Agile planning and tracking tools such as Azure DevOps•   Demonstrates good understanding of business process development, technical implementations, operations, and competitive industry offerings.•   Strong writing skills that can turn business goals into meaningful user stories.•   Candidates who have any exposure to Legal Management processes and products will have an added advantage.•   Should be able to manage multiple products, oversee backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily team support simultaneously.•   Solid understanding of product management principles and practices. Expertise with Agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.•   Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. •   Advise clients on meeting their current and future needs, addressing underlying issues they may not recognize.•   Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.•   Candidates with Product Owner certifications like CSPO/CAPO/PSPO highly preferred.•   Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex IT solutions with tangible business value.•   Able to take personal ownership and accountability to meet deadlines and achieve agreed-upon results, and has the personal organization to do so.
