PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The EpiC Project in Myanmar supports integrated health interventions to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable populations in the country. The project supports stronger health systems, including community health systems, testing and treatment access and case management, particularly in hard-to-reach areas, and aims to improve capacities to detect, prevent, and respond to infectious diseases.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position will provide leadership, management, and direct technical focus areas related to integrated health, including a wide range of infectious diseases, e.g. HIV, malaria. S/he will manage staff and project interventions related to integrated health and align EpiC frameworks, approaches, tools, and activities with relevant normative guidelines and technical standards. This will include engaging with qualified partners to implement interventions and ensure technical performance. The EpiC Associate Director, Integrated Health, will work closely with the Country Representative together with technical, program management, and monitoring and evaluation teams to ensure adherence with the United States Government’s (USG) health priorities across country-level work plans. S/he will be accountable for the successful delivery of all technical aspects and reporting from initiation through delivery and closeout, ensuring completion of technical deliverables on schedule and within budget and that meet or exceed quality standards.
