CONTEXTO
Estos puestos han de cubrirse en la Sede, los despachos regionales, las oficinas en los países y las oficinas de zona y sobre el terreno. Los titulares del puesto rinden cuentas al Oficial de Cadena de Suministros.
En este nivel, los titulares se encargan autónomamente de tareas técnicas y especializadas, incluidas la planificación, organización y coordinación, y del establecimiento de objetivos en relación con todas las modalidades de asistencia, tanto para los servicios de logística del PMA como para los servicios comunes. Se ocupan asimismo de cuestiones que a menudo no están definidas con precisión e implican un cierto margen de incertidumbre e interrelaciones complejas. Las instrucciones recibidas son de orden general y los titulares demuestran sistemáticamente un alto grado de responsabilidad y espíritu e iniciativa para gestionar actividades y responder a consultas autónomamente. De ellos se espera que motiven y desarrollen un equipo de funcionarios de apoyo y/o que sean responsables de servicios de apoyo especializados en los que el trabajo se lleve a cabo con la ayuda de técnicas, métodos y procesos especialmente diseñados para ese fin.

CUALIFICACIONES ACADÉMICAS ESTÁNDAR MÍNIMAS:
Formación: Finalización del ciclo de educación secundaria. Certificado de educación postsecundaria en Logística, Cadena de Suministro, Ingeniería, Acción Humanitaria u otro campo estrechamente vinculado.
Idiomas: Deseable Inglés avanzado, oral y escrito.
