CONTEXTO ORGANIZATIVO:
El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA) de las Naciones Unidas es el mayor organismo humanitario de lucha contra el hambre del mundo. En Colombia, el apoyo que PMA brinda al gobierno nacional responden a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenibles (ODS) 2 y 17 haciendo uso de herramientas innovadoras tales como transferencias en dinero y compra local de alimentos a través de asociaciones de agricultores. Las actividades del PMA en Colombia se concentran en las poblaciones más vulnerables, que incluye víctimas de la violencia, comunidades marginadas y grupos étnicos. El objetivo es reconstruir y fortalecer sus fuentes de subsistencia, asegurando que tengan adecuado acceso en todo momento a dietas nutritivas y diversas e incrementando su capacidad para recuperarse y adaptarse a los cambios climáticos. Esto se hace de manera progresiva a través del desarrollo de las capacidades de autoridades locales para implementar programas responsables que contribuyan a reducir la inseguridad alimentaria y la malnutrición.
Estos puestos han de cubrirse en las cinco (5) oficinas de terreno de WFP Colombia (Cali, Cúcuta, Medellín, Pasto y Riohacha) y sus tres (3) oficinas satélites (Arauca, Montería y Quibdó). Los titulares de este puesto desempeñarán funciones de apoyo administrativo en las oficinas de terreno y rendirán cuenta al Jefe de la Oficina a la que sean asignados con supervisión funcional de la Unidad de Administración y Finanzas en Bogotá.
En este nivel, el trabajo se lleva a cabo con supervisión mínima. Los titulares deben realizar un trabajo organizado y preciso, encargándose de actividades específicas de apoyo operativo y administrativo. Cabe también la posibilidad de que proporcionen orientación sobre prácticas estándar a funcionarios menos experimentados en su esfera de actividad.
FINALIDAD DEL PUESTO:
Llevar a término procesos de apoyo operativo y administrativo estándar en relación con una esfera profesional específica, con el fin de facilitar la prestación eficaz de servicios.
En este nivel, el trabajo se lleva a cabo con supervisión mínima. Los titulares deben realizar un trabajo organizado y preciso, encargándose de actividades específicas de apoyo operativo y administrativo. Cabe también la posibilidad de que proporcionen orientación sobre prácticas estándar a funcionarios menos experimentados en su esfera de actividad.

Formación:
Finalización del ciclo de educación secundaria. Deseable, estudios postsecundarios en temas administrativos, contables o afines a las funciones del cargo.
Experiencia:
Cuatro (4) años como mínimo de experiencia con responsabilidades cada vez mayores en la esfera operativa correspondiente, y experiencia en tareas administrativas de carácter general.
Experiencia en el uso de computadoras y paquetes de software de oficina (MS Word, Excel, etc.). Conocimientos avanzados en hojas de cálculo y paquetes de bases de datos
Experiencia en el manejo de sistemas de gestión basados en la web, preferiblemente SAP.
