Who we are?
IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria.
IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host community through 20 healthcare facility and other health and nutrition projects
During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management
Those who are shortlisted, shall be invited to attend online interviews
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the respective activities plan for the day.
- Use appropriate PSS and recreational kits material, subjects, teaching methods, stationary and furniture for children and youth classes
- Conduct the recreational activities using different materials
- Ensure children participating in various activities are cared for and provided a protective environment for beneficiaries
- Support parents and care givers by providing PSS/PFA services
- Refer children with protection difficulties to Psychologist / social workers for additional support
- Implementing structured PSS and PFA activities
- Ensure the attendance of the children is taken daily and recorded properly into the database.
- Conduct consultation meeting with the Social Worker/Psychologist on children/youth progress
- Identify and refer cases of children with distress or psycho-social support.
- Document and share any feedback provided by parents or beneficiaries about the delivered activities, and take actions to improve the education response.
- Any other task required from direct supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Psychology, Sociology or any other related field.
- Two years’ experience working in protection field
- Ability to organize events and activities
- Excellent communication skills.
- Very good computer skills especially in MS Word and MS excel
