Reporting Lines
The Language Teacher will report directly to the Programme Officer and will work closely with the Human Resources team to monitor progress and support the evaluation of learners' language skills development.
Technical Focus
High quality delivery of language training, enhancing the personnel capacities to ensure that the Organization maintains the high level of multilingualism required to fulfil its mandate.
Furtherly developing linguistic and cultural repertoire through language training to succeed in intercultural communication and cooperation throughout the organization and with external stakeholders.
Tasks and responsibilities
• Prepare and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to adult learners' needs and levels.
• Design and adapt teaching materials for both in-person and online sessions.
• Support learners in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Monitor learners’ progress and provide regular feedback.
• Provide individual progress reports for each student, highlighting areas of improvement and achievements.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources team to support follow-up and evaluation activities.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and other relevant activities as required.
• Provide Syllabus of courses as per Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages, levels should be aligned; A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 etc.
• Ensure that all teaching activities align with organizational goals and language learning objectives.
CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING
Minimum Requirements
• Advanced university degree in English language education or other related fields
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in teaching English language to adult learners, particularly those with varying proficiency levels, both in-person and online
• Working knowledge of (level C) of English language
• National of Egypt or resident of the country with valid work permit

• Extent and relevance of experience in working with learners of mixed ability levels,
• Certification in English teaching
• Extent and relevance of experience in monitoring tools and methods for evaluating progress in language acquisition.
• Familiarity with a multicultural or development-oriented environment is an asset.
