Purpose of the role

The purpose of the Admin TA position is day to day implementation of the support functions responsibilities in South Central Sub Office in Ramadi. 

What you will do

Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelinesAssist with the implementation of the admin function portfolio according to plan of actionPrepare and develop status reports as required by managementEnsure proper filing of Admin related documentsPromote and share ideas for improvement of the administration function

Specifically, you will;

Responsible for direct purchases in coordination with the Logistics Technical Officer in BaghdadArrange for visitor requirements Make appointments and keep itineraries for NRC visitors when required.Manage the office, ensuring all bills are regularly paid on time, and office is fit for purpose. Coordinate with the landlords for office on issues related to maintenance, utility payments and lease agreements. File administrative documents according to procedures and maintain stock of office supplies in Ramadi office. Purchasing office stationery, phone credit cards and office supplies such as Gas, keys, SIM cards, and other purchasing.Hotels reservation for training, workshops, NRC event, meetings and conferences. Ensure that Ramadi office is kept clean, tidy and organised. Liase with Logistics when disposal processed need to be undertaken. Responsible for preparing office contingent workers’ payments in line with Finance SOP and passing to FinanceResponsible for preparing office daily workers’ payments in line with Finance SOP and passing to FinanceProvide other support as requested by the line manager

 Professional competencies

Experience from working as a Support Function Officer in a humanitarian/recovery contextPrevious experience from working in complex and volatile contextsDocumented results related to the position’s responsibilitiesWorking knowledge of EnglishProficiency in Arabic Analytical skillsProven ability to plan and implementMotivated and keen to learnStrong organisational and team working skillsGood cultural awareness and sensitivityGood computer application skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database and network communication

Contract Duration: until 31 December 2025 (our contract renewal cycle runs from January to December)
Duty Station: Ramadi - Iraq with 
Health Insurance is provided
Salary: G4, according to NRC’s Iraq salary scale and terms and conditions.
