  General Qualifications

University degree in a field that is relevant to the activities of the project management office (PMO), such as Business Administration or Engineering. Minimum seven years of experience in programme management or support, preferably in an international environment, a national public administration (civil or military), or the private sector. , Ability to multi-task, manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing high-quality products under short-notice deadlines. Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to complex problems, to set performance goals and expectations, to develop policy and metrics, to measure performance and to engage problems early to mitigate risk and redirect performance. Experience of programme and project management processes, concepts and tools. Experience in planning, coordinating and other administrative functions acquired in NSPA or in a similar organisation. Ability to orchestrate and implement clear, efficient and logical approaches to work, to manage assignments, objectives and time. Ability to deal effectively with personnel at all organisational levels. Knowledge of information systems at end-user level, and experience in using personal computers and software packages (MS Office, including good command of MS Project). Ability to facilitate/present persuasively to gain buy-in and effective negotiations skills to achieve desired outcomes including business growth. Ability to analyse complex and wide-ranging questions, issues and information, with a structured approach to the problem solving process, including providing recommended solutions and a proposed way forward.   Specific Qualifications Certified in programme management or PMO e.g. PRINCE2®; Project Management Professional (PMP) ®; P3M3®; earned value management or equivalent. Recent experience in using programme and project management methods and tools. LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS NATO's two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirableX   WHAT DO WE OFFER?
