The Team Assistant is part of the Pool of Assistants of the Resources Management Unit (RMU) of the ICMPD Brussels Mission. He/She works under the supervision of the Head of RMU. The RMU is responsible for the planning, staffing, budgeting, grants and financial reporting of Brussels-based projects/programmes and in other regions, as assigned, as well as cost monitoring and administrative control. The RMU provides the necessary services to the different projects including the EU Diaspora Facility (EUDiF), the Return and Reintegration Facility (RRF), the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF) and the EU Migration and Displacement Capacity Assistance Project (MidCAP). In this context, the Pool of Assistants provides logictical support to the ICMPD Brussels project teams with regard to procurement, travel, expert recruitment and overall events management.
In addition to the languages listed in the job profile (i.e. fluent English), French is an asset for this position. Excellent command of Excel is a must.
