Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position is assigned in the Strategic Workforce Unit (BPOD-SWU) within the Budget, People, and Management Systems Department (BPMSD). BPMSD provides operational support to ADB on areas of position management, recruitment and selection, HR business partnering, HR operations administration including HR systems and analytics, reward management, talent management, learning and development, and ADB budget management. BPOD-SWU is responsible in (i) reviewing staffing, identifying skills requirements and allocation of positions to organizational units; (ii) leading the annual workforce analysis and preparation of departmental strategic staffing plan; (iii) reviewing organizational structure and the allocation of functions between and among organizations and recommending changes in organizational arrangements; and (iv) assessing administrative support systems, procedures and practices to further improve work efficiency and effectiveness.
You will report to Advisor, BPMSD and Head, SWU and to designated International Staff and Officer.
Your Role
As a Senior Workforce Planning Assistant, you will contribute technical inputs to the unit's various work including staffing skills requirements, workforce analysis, position management, organizational realignments, knowledge sharing and institutional coordination. Furthermore, you will provide administrative support to the Advisor, BPMSD and Head, SWU and unit's operations.
