Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The positions are assigned in the Field Office Support Team under the Institutional Services Division (CSIS) within the Corporate Services Department (CSD).
The Senior Global Real Estate Management Specialist will be assigned in ADB Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. The incumbent for the Senior Global Real Estate Management Specialist will report to the Director, CSIS and will supervise National Staff, and Administrative Staff.
The Global Real Estate Management Specialist will be outposted in Thailand Resident Mission (TRM) supporting a portfolio of ADB Field Offices. The incumbent will initially be based in ADB Headquarters in Manila for 1 year before being outposted to TRM. The incumbent for the Global Real Estate Management Specialist will report to the Director CSIS and will have matrix reporting to Country Director, TRM. The incumbent will supervise National Staff and Administrative Staff.
Position title upon appointment is Real Estate Management Specialist / Senior Real Estate Management Specialist.
Your Role
As Global Real Estate Management Specialist/Senior Global Real Estate Management Specialist, you will coordinate the delivery of identified services and functions to ADB field offices. You will provide technical and procedural guidance to the Field Offices to ensure management of ADB's global real estate portfolio within a framework of broad policies and internal controls.

Master's degree in project management, construction management, civil engineering, building science, architecture, business administration or equivalent; or University degree in related fields and at least 5 years specialized experience relevant to the position can be considered. At least 8 years relevant work experience. Professional certifications in project management, corporate real estate, LEED, workplace wellness and facility management are desirable. International experience working in several countries in planning and managing multiple facilities infrastructure projects that involve understanding architectural design concepts, construction, mechanical or design engineering, sustainability principles, building systems and equipment as applied to comprehensive construction, facility, and renovation projects. Knowledge of best practices in workplace strategy and planning, activity-based working, working environments, space use for cost-effective commercial real estate solutions, and adapt to new trends and industry innovations. Work creatively and independently and handles pressure across multiple tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required, with strong presentation abilities in both technical and business matters. Ability to liaise with all types of internal and external clients, and to manage both staff and outsources agency personnel in project management and related fields. Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills developed in a multicultural business environment.
