OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMMELes Unites d'Appui administratif des bureaux de pays (CSU) ont ete mises en place pour fournir un appui aux responsables et aux membres du personnel afin de leur permettre d'exercer pleinement leurs responsabilites dans l'environnement du GSM et de garantir la conformite aux politiques, procedures, regles et reglements dans toutes les transactions ou pour toutes les questions administratives et financieres, dans le contexte d'un systeme de planification des ressources institutionnelles (ERP).

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIESSous la responsabilite generale du Representant de l'OMS et de la supervision directe de l'Administrateur charge des operations, le Chauffeur Principal/Chauffeur a la Representation de l'OMS s'acquitte des fonctions suivantes :-Conduire tout type de vehicule qui lui sera assigne dans l'exercice de ses fonctions de chauffeur ;-Fournir des services fiables de chauffeur au chef du bureau, a de hauts fonctionnaires du SNU et visiteurs de haut rang, en suivant les itineraires autorises et en respectant les regles et reglements des Nations Unies relatifs a la surete et a la securite ;-Accueillir les hauts responsables a l'aeroport et faciliter les formalites d'immigration et de douane s'il y a lieu ;-Enlever et livrer du courrier, des documents et d'autres articles selon les besoins ;-Assurer de maniere efficiente l'entretien courant des vehicules assignes, controler l'huile, l'eau, la batterie, les freins, les pneus, etc. ; faire les petites reparations et prendre les dispositions necessaires pour les autres interventions ; veiller en permanence a la proprete des vehicules assignes et a leur bon etat de marche ;-Noter dans le carnet de bord les courses officielles, le kilometrage journalier, la consommation de carburant, les vidanges, les graissages, etc. ; examiner les carnets de bord des vehicules assignes du Bureau pour en verifier la bonne tenue.-Negocier et assurer la liaison et la coordination avec les autorites locales pour faciliter la circulation sans encombre du vehicule dans les zones designees ;-Selon les besoins, traduire des phrases courantes de la langue locale vers une langue officielle pour le chef du bureau et le personnel des Nations Unies se trouvant dans le vehicule ;-Respecter toutes les procedures reglementaires applicables en cas d'accident ;-Aider le personnel du bureau a effectuer des taches de classement, de photocopie et de tenue des archives, selon que de besoin ; aider a l'expedition du courrier et a la diffusion de bulletins d'information et de publications ; Le cas echeant, etablir un programme quotidien pour les chauffeurs et les vehicules ;-S'acquitter de toute autre tache connexe qui pourrait lui etre confiee.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EducationEssential: Diplome de fin d'etudes secondaires techniques ou commerciales ou equivalent (BEPC, BEP Mecanique Auto et/ou CAP Mecanique Auto), ou tout autre diplome equivalent et un permis de conduire valide du pays.
Desirable: Posseder un permis de conduire, categorie C ou E,Connaitre les regles et reglements en matiere de conduite et de protocole,Avoirun certificat en conduite defensive,Avoir de bonnes aptitudes en mecanique auto.

ExperienceEssential: Au moins deux (02) ans d'experience progressive de conduite en tant que chauffeur et des antecedents de conduite en toute securite.
Desirable: Une experience au sein du systeme des Nations Unies ou toute autre organisation internationale;Connaissance de la manipulation des radios VHF et HF et des regles de securite du Systeme des Nations Unies ;Aptitude a conduire les vehicules blindes.

SkillsConnaissance des regles et reglements du pays en matiere de conduite et capacite a effectuer les reparations mineures du vehicule ;Capacite a lire, ecrire et comprendre les instructions dans la langue de travail etUne capacite a rediger un rapport concis et fidele des accidents.

REMUNERATIONWHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at XOF 7,290,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
