The duration of the internship is for a period of around four (4) months, till 31 Dec 2025. The internship is full-time and in-person; interns work five days (35 hours or more) per week under the supervision of a staff member in the office to which they are assigned. UNDSS is looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals with skills to work with UNDSS to enable UNSMS programmes in the field. Within assigned authority, the intern will perform the following duties: • Assist in collecting information for the assessments, monthly snapshot and flash reports. • Assist in conducting the Physical Security Assessments for UNSMS premises. • Assist in coordinating with the guard force at the UNSMS premises. • Assist in drafting administrative tasks such travel arrangements, logistics inventory. • Provide translation in the meeting with the Host Government authorities. • Take meeting minutes during meeting when required. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications/special skillsThe applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent); (c) have graduated with a university degree (as defined above).
