About the position
The Alliance Bioversity International and CIAT is seeking applications to suitable and qualified candidates for the position of Accounts Assistant who will provide timely and efficient accounting support to CIAT projects in Malawi; working very closely with the finance and administration team members to ensure that accounting processes and internal control procedures across the organization flow in a smooth manner.

Terms of employment
This position is a nationally recruited position based in Lilongwe, Malawi. The initial contract will be for One year subject to a probation period of three (3) months and is renewable depending on performance and availability of resources.
This position is graded at BG05, with a minimum basic salary of 524,813.00 Malawi Kwacha level in a scale of BG01 to BG14 (BG14 being the highest level according to the Alliance job classification framework policy).
