Project Officer - Social Behavior Change Strategy and Toolkit

Plan International Pilipinas, a leading child rights organization, is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Project Officer to join our team. We are implementing a 7-month project funded by the Australian Government to protect children from online sexual abuse and exploitation (OSAEC).

About the Project:

This exciting project focuses on testing innovative strategies and tools to prevent OSAEC in real-world settings. We are working in partnership with communities in Manila and Leyte to:

  • Change harmful attitudes: Address the social norms that contribute to child sexual abuse.
  • Empower children and families: Equip children and families with the knowledge and skills to stay safe online.
  • Create a safer online environment: Develop and test resources that can be used nationwide to protect children from online harm.

    About the Role:

    As a Project Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful implementation of this project. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting project implementation: Assisting in the planning and execution of field activities, including community workshops and training sessions.
    • Building relationships: Fostering strong relationships with community members, local government officials, and other stakeholders.
    • Monitoring and reporting: Tracking project progress, collecting data, and preparing reports on project activities and outcomes.
    • Providing administrative support: Managing project logistics, coordinating with partners, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
