I. Job Summary
Action Against Hunger-USA seeks a highly competent Project Management Officer (PMO) to support a successful HRIS system implementation and rollout. This is a 12-month assignment with a possible extension up to 18 months based on the needs of the project.
Purpose: The PMO will work with the HRIS platform vendor and internal stakeholders to determine project requirements, and develop scope, deliverables, and timelines.
Engagement: S/he will serve as a key member of a team that works closely with HR, IT, and other business leaders throughout the organization.
Delivery: S/he will track tasks, manage accountability, and monitor risk and escalate appropriately.
II. Essential Job Duties
Provide a measurable, consistent, and “user-centered” approach to project management. Help develop and be responsible for managing the overall project plan. This includes working with the HRIS implementation partner to manage project scope, requirements, deliverables, tasks, timelines, resources, dependencies, and risks while tracking progress. Manage internal project stakeholders, project team, and project schedule. Facilitate project meetings with required teams and stakeholders, including meeting agendas, documentation, and meeting follow-up. Develop and execute a thorough, people-centered change management strategy that supports project buy-in, transparency, and a smooth transition to new ways of working throughout ACF USA’s employee network. Direct and manage communication with multiple cross functional teams through to project completion. Develop a basic understanding of existing internal HR systems and processes and bring teams together to accomplish desired outcomes. Must possess skills to review HR processes and workflows and analyze existing data to help identify solutions. Hold yourself, vendor partner(s), and internal stakeholders accountable by communicating role expectations and project timelines and enforcing a high standard of project management excellence.
III.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or other related field preferred or equivalent professional experience required.IV.Required Skills & Experience

5 years project management experience including 2+ years of experience managing technology projects, Experience working in an international NGO or similar environment overseeing multiple projects across all lines of business and in multiple locations. Project Management experience implementing HR global platforms Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in the development, planning and execution of project plans. Experience working in an agile environment. Clear and effective listening and communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills, Strong interpersonal and team skills. Strong influencing and negotiation skills; demonstrate credibility, able to interact comfortably with all levels of management and staff; relationship management, understanding of organizational interdependencies and cultural nuances, managerial courage; Comfort working with Microsoft 365 Knowledge of Ceridian solution (DayForce) is a plus.V.
