Implemented by ICMPD and funded by the European Commission (DG HOME), the Return and Reintegration Facility (RRF) supports European Member States (MS) and Schengen Associated Countries to increase the effectiveness of their return and reintegration programming.
The RRF provides operational and financial support to MS to facilitate the development of solutions and activities with an EU-added value in the area of return and reintegration, whilst bridging gaps between existing initiatives. In parallel, the RRF supports the implementation of the EU Strategy on Voluntary Return and Reintegration. The RRF Team is composed of four main teams: 1) Facility Support and Knowledge Office, 2) RIAT (Reintegration Assistance Tool) Team, 3) Operational Support to Returns Team, and 4) Referral and Local Ownership Team.
The Project Management Associate will integrate the Facility Support and Knowledge Office (FSK) which oversees the overall implementation of the RRF as well as provides transversal support to the various teams. The FSK covers the implementation of the following processes: 1) Stakeholder Engagement, 2) Communications and Knowledge Management, 3) Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and 4) Horizontal Support.
Working with a level of relative independence, the Project Management Associate is responsible for providing a wide range of experienced administrative, logistical and technical support to the Return and Reintegration Facility (RRF) team throughout the planning and implementation of projects activities.
The Project Management Associate supports the EU Return and Reintegration Portfolio Manager in the overall operational management of the RRF which includes mainly tasks related to 1) administrative and logistics management, 2) team coordination, 3) financial management and reporting support.
The Project Management Associate will report to the EU Return and Reintegration Portfolio Manager.
