Over the years, it has grown to be one of the largest organizations of its kind, with a staff of approximately 200 employees, including more than 120 analysts working to address the changing dynamics of international security across the globe. The Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy (AILA) provides internal leadership and development programs to CSIS staff and interns, including foreign policy seminars, current event discussions, and professional skill-building workshops. The Executive Education portfolio is responsible for developing substantive training programs for outside organizations, including corporate, government, university, and NGO partners across the globe. The team strives to foster a culture of openness and collaboration and expects all members to support these values and contribute to community-building efforts.   The program coordinator is an integral part of the team and supports the successful administration and execution of educational and professional development programming at CSIS. The program coordinator assists with a wide range of program components, including financial management, outreach, internal team coordination, liaising with research teams across the center, events logistics support, and providing administrative support. The role may entail preparation and implementation of internal and external training programs. The program coordinator works closely with the program manager in charge of budget management and central team coordination; this position is primarily administrative.    The salary range for this position is $55,000-$60,000 based on experience.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:   • Assist with budget management, including tracking finances for various projects, processing invoices, and reconciling receipts.  • Assist with managing Salesforce and other database systems. • Assist with outreach and recruitment initiatives for executive programs, including mailing campaigns, social media, and other marketing efforts. • Gather and analyze outreach metrics to assess and refine marketing strategies. • As needed, assist the program manager for internal professional development with outreach for and coordination of CSIS training structure. • As needed, contribute to the development and implementation of current and new CSIS AILA trainings and executive education programs, including, among others: ensuring smooth coordination of all administrative and logistical functions, developing educational packets, drafting curricula and brochures, assisting participants and speakers, and managing online portals for executive programs. • Liaise with CSIS research and administrative staff throughout the organization.   KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:   • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Strong attention to detail, time management, and excellent communication skills required. • Budgeting and event planning experience a plus, in any relevant capacity. • Experience analyzing data across multiple platforms and drawing meaningful insights to inform strategy is required. • Ability to multitask, problem solve in a timely manner, and work closely with a range of individuals with diverse backgrounds, dispositions, and executive levels. • A proactive attitude, willingness to help, creative outlook, and ability to project a professional image to the public, co-workers, and partners.Familiarity with Excel, Salesforce, Pardot, Concur, Adaptive, Google Analytics, InDesign, and Canva (or other design platforms) desired.     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS:   Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.   Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.   OUR BENEFITS   Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability 403(b) for retirement planning Tuition Assistance Flexible Spending Account Health Savings Account Military Leave 12 Paid Holidays Sick leave Vacation leave   HOW TO APPLY:    Interested applicants should submit a résumé and a cover letter at http://csis.org/about-us/careers.
