Job Purpose and Organizational Context Under the the direct supervision of the Head of Experimentation, Accelerator Lab, the Programme Assistant will provide support to the Accelerator Lab and the Multi-Country Office (MCO), contributing to the successful implementation of activities and projects. The Programme Assistant will work in close collaboration with UNDP MCO staff, UN Agencies and national authorities to ensure the efficient implementation of projects. The Programme Assistant is expected to be well-organized, willing to learn on-the-job, professional, and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills. Scope of work
Conduct research to inform the strategic initiatives of the Accelerator Lab. Assist in the development of Concept Notes, Proposals and other documents to support the work of the Lab. Provide logistical and other support to Exploration, Solutions Mapping and Experiment portfolios. Provide close administrative support to Challenge Winners for major Lab initiatives (for example the Green Innovation Challenge and Peace Innovation Challenge). Make suggestions and recommendations for future Lab activities based on research and programme involvement. Maintain and monitor project milestones and deadlines. Manage meeting schedules. Draft letters, correspondence and emails and conduct other administrative tasks. Maintain the filing system, ensuring safekeeping of confidential material. Follow up on deadlines, commitments made, and actions taken.Institutional Arrangement

Education Requirements Secondary Education or Bachelor’s Degree preferably with specialized certification in Conflict Resolution or other certifications related to youth peacebuilding Working Experience At least 4 years’ work experience in a governmental or intergovernmental organization or an NGO in a support or administrative capacity or 1 year of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree will be given due consideration.
