Save the Children is no ordinary not-for-profit:
We’re ambitious, creative and outspoken. We stand up for children’s rights. We want all children to be educated, healthy and live a life free from violence. We run programs in Australia and overseas and, if there’s a disaster - like an earthquake, drought, or conflict – we are there on the ground.
About the project:
SOLKAS is a $31,831,892 USD, 6-year (2024-2030) project principally funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), with contributions from the Australian Government aid program and New Zealand Government. The project is co-executed by Save the Children Solomon Islands and the Solomon Islands Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management, and Meteorology (MECDM), who jointly manage activity implementation (that will be undertaken by a range of government departments and contractors).
