About this position

IDB Invest is seeking a Salesforce Architect to work closely with our IT Lead Officer to drive the adoption, optimization, and iteration of the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability with Salesforce Projects implementation. Using their expertise, problem-solving ability, and creative flair, the candidate will serve as the strategic and tactical interface to align banking technologies with business requirements, including but not limited to the following: strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, process engineering, system integrations, training, and communication. This role will oversee the Salesforce support and technical team, will be adaptable, and will adopt change to ensure that the implementations are robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

What you’ll do:

Manage multiple stakeholder engagements and work with relevant team members to understand/learn project requirements, facilitate process analysis sessions, and develop technology solutions. Partner with key stakeholders to identify how business requirements can be delivered to ensure improved user experiences and reduced cost and time impacts. Analyze business requirements and design comprehensive Salesforce solutions. Develop architecture blueprints and detailed design documents. Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Lead the implementation of Salesforce solutions, including configuration and customization. Provide expert advice on application solutions identify project issues and risks, and present alternatives for alleviating or resolving them. Conduct feasibility studies of applications and system solutions and recommend new features or improvements to optimize and increase the use of the platform. Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems as required. Oversee data migration efforts. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Salesforce development team. Establish coding standards, best practices, and governance frameworks, including code reviews, to ensure high-quality code delivery. Communicate technical concepts and solutions optimally to non-technical stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues promptly. Develop and implement monitoring and maintenance plans for the Salesforce platform. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Salesforce solutions. Ensure the platform is up to date with the latest Salesforce releases and features. Be responsible for the launch of solutions and help to improve the positive impact on the organization. Develop sophisticated reports and dashboards to support the delivery of business key metrics. Develop technical documentation to align with the internal control processes. Serve as liaison between end users and the technical support team. Support IT Lead Officer and Enterprise Business Architect with process and controls mapping.

What you'll need

Education: Master's degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in computer science, Software Engineering, or related quantitative field relevant to the responsibilities of the role. Salesforce Certifications are a plus. Experience: At least 3 years of progressive experience. IT experience implementing Salesforce CRM, preferably Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. Solid understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio/Vlocity. Experience within the banking industry. Extensive experience in data modeling, process mapping, and specification documentation. Experience facilitating workshops and discussion sessions. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools. Experience in creating business cases for technology-related solutions. Experience optimizing team performance through Agile and Design Thinking Methodologies. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and JIRA.

Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is required.

Type of contract and duration

International: International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
