Design interventions for digital and new technologies such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, electrical vehicles, energy storage, smart meters and environmental sustainability, including developing specifications, preparing procedures for deployment, and training utility staff in use and application of new tools and technologies.
Identify emerging technologies and suppliers, vendors, service providers etc. in relevant areas and review their relevance, potential for pilot projects.
Design specifications for adoption and testing of technologies/products in India’s energy sector.
Make a case to utilities and regulators for pilot projects and new technologies based on evidence and technical review.
Prepare bidding frameworks and tender documents and support bidding processes.
Monitor and review performance of advanced technologies deployed.
Prepare and author reports, research papers, articles on key energy technology themes.
Conduct trainings and capacity development workshops for utilities, regulators, etc.
Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Power Systems) or Physics and at least 6 years of experience and Bachelor’s degree in mentioned fields and 8 years of experience.
At least 5 years of experience in at least one of the following areas listed: Electrical Vehicles, Smart Meters, energy storage, SCADA, GOS
Experience in developing/deploying/testing innovative technologies such as Green Hydrogen in India’s energy sector.
Demonstrated network amongst leading technology players, institutions, and service providers
