World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Cybersecurity Specialist
Major Function
The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for supporting cybersecurity initiatives including monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing the security posture of WWF's information systems. The role involves working closely with other Cybersecurity and Information Technology team members to implement security policies, procedures, and controls. The Cybersecurity Specialist will support in developing and maintaining incident response plans, ensuring timely and effective handling of security incidents and breaches. A crucial part of the role is managing the Information Security Management System (ISMS). The analyst will ensure that all security policies, procedures, and controls are in alignment with industry standards and best practices.
*This is a 1-year assignment initially, with a likelihood of continued extensions.*
Salary: The expected compensation range for this position is $82,400 to $103,000
Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs.
Respond to and mitigate security incidents. Recommend corrective actions and remediation's.
Identify security requirements and conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate penetration testing.
Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls.
Support in developing/revising documentation of security procedures and processes.
Develop and maintain incident response plans.
Manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as CIS, PCI and ISO standards.
Stay up to date on cybersecurity trends and threats.
Coordinate security awareness training programs.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure secure information systems
Support in evaluating and implementing new security tools, technologies, controls and mitigations
Performs other duties as assigned.

MUST HAVE 3-5 years of policy and compliance regulation experience in Cybersecurity.
MUST HAVE a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology (OR Cybersecurity certifications with equivalent work experience).
Systems administrators or IT professionals with a Cybersecurity background are encouraged to apply.
Spanish is strongly preferred.
