Pact is an international nonprofit that works in nearly 40 countries building solutions for human development that are evidence-based, data-driven and owned by the communities we serve. Founded in 1971, Pact works with partners to build resilience, improve accountability, and strengthen knowledge and skills for sustainable social impact.
The CSM-STAND intern will work with Pact’s Governance team on communications and thought leadership products, as well as providing administrative support for the CSM-STAND Leader Award’s monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting. This internship is designed for students exploring career paths outside academia, to familiarize them with the practitioner world and provide mentorship and support in developing skills valued in the international development sector. The intern will support the communication of evidence about civil society and media interventions across different geographies and to different audiences. Valuable skills include data visualization, qualitative analysis, advanced database software or programming skills, foreign language proficiency, teaching and public speaking, and knowledge management.
