Work LocationRemotely Expected duration5.5 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the overall guidance and supervision of the Economic Affairs Officer, Innovation, Enterprise and Investment Section of the Trade, Investment and Innovation Division, the primary duty of the consultant are: 1. Co-create a template for IPAs to package and promote investible projects in green transition sectors, with specific references to gender and social inclusions aspects of the project 2. Work with one ASEAN member State to identify an investible opportunity in a sector of the ASEAN Regional Investment Promotion Action Plan. The investible opportunity developed under this output must include high-level, qualitative descriptions of the potential emissions reduction benefits associated with the investment-ready project. These descriptions should be based on sector averages and publicly available data, providing a clear link between the proposed opportunity and its contribution to sustainability and climate goals. 3. Develop the project documentation in the template and create a pitch deck for the IPAs. 4. Carry out one 4-hour workshop in person to ASEAN Regional Investment Promotion Action Plan focal points on lessons learned regarding identifying, packaging and promoting investable projects. Qualifications/special skills1. At least bachelor's degree in economics, business administration or a related field. 2. At least 10 years of experience in foreign direct investment promotion and attraction. 3. Experience in working in an investment promotion agency and on packaging and promoting invisible projects as an IPA. Yes/No: If yes, explain your approach to creating templates and how they incorporated elements like gender and social inclusivity. 3) Sector Prioritization: Do you have experience prioritizing sectors for investment promotion based on criteria such as market demand, sustainability, and alignment with national goals in at least one region? Yes/No: If yes, detail your approaches. 4) Workshop Facilitation: Have you successfully designed and facilitated at least one workshop for government stakeholders such as IPAs? Yes/No: If yes, describe the workshop’s structure, engagement methods, and outcomes. 5) Stakeholder Engagement: Have you collaborated with government and private sector stakeholders from at least two different countries in the ASEAN region? Yes/No: If yes, share how you managed these relationships and ensured alignment of goals.
