Job Description
The Cleaner cum Office Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the office environment remains clean, orderly, and welcoming for both staff and visitors while also providing essential administrative and logistical support. This role requires a combination of housekeeping duties and office assistance, making it a central part of smooth day-to-day operations. The position involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the office, including workstations, meeting rooms, washrooms, pantry, and common spaces, while also ensuring that supplies such as toiletries, cleaning materials, drinking water, and kitchen items are regularly replenished and available. In addition to cleaning responsibilities, the Cleaner cum Office Assistant supports routine administrative functions by handling mail and courier services, photocopying, scanning, and filing documents, as well as distributing internal communications. The role also assists in preparing meeting rooms by arranging furniture, serving refreshments, and ensuring that required materials are ready for use. At times, the position may include running errands within and outside the office, supporting the movement of equipment or supplies, and assisting colleagues with simple tasks to ensure that work proceeds without interruption. Reliability, confidentiality, and a service-oriented mindset are key qualities, as the Cleaner cum Office Assistant contributes directly to creating a professional, safe, and efficient workplace environment that allows staff to focus on their core responsibilities.
