Master’s degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering or equivalent education (Environmental engineering, Project Management associated with civil works experience), Not less than ten years of experience in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering and the construction and maintenance of complex infrastructure. Resource management expertise related to civil engineering activities, base operating support or public works. Comprehensive experience in system engineering practice and project management. Understanding and working experience of contracting processes and the management of contractors in the field of public infrastructure, with specific focus on military infrastructures In particular, proven experience in large civil works contracts management in the Defence domain is highly appreciated. Experience in Portfolio management and/or infrastructure strategic planning. Wide practical experience of logistical support activities for deployed operations. Specialised knowledge in the area of civil engineering and infrastructure acquisition and maintenance in theatre operations. Experience in deployed operations, at NATO and/or national level or equivalent significant experience in civil works in international context. WHAT DO WE OFFER? This post is deployable. The incumbent of this post may be required to deploy or may be assigned to a remote location, to perform duties (inside or outside a theatre/deployment location) in support of Council approved operations/missions or in support of national or multinational operations/missions authorised by the Agency Supervisory Board of NSPO.
