BRIDGE is WWF’s summer internship program. Launched in 2021, it is a paid internship opportunity aimed at a pool of talented undergraduate and graduate students who could bring fresh thinking and innovation to the environmental sector. In particular, WWF aims to employ interns who have not previously had a breadth of professional experience and have not previously considered conservation as a career pathway.

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented intern to join our team and support the development of visually engaging training modules. In this role, the intern will collaborate with the Program Operations Senior Directors and subject matter experts to help transform existing training content into visually appealing, user-friendly materials. The intern will be responsible for creating graphics, layouts, and other visual assets that enhance the learner's experience while maintaining the integrity and clarity of the information being taught.

Responsibilities

Internship Description:

Work closely with the team to design and produce high-quality visuals for training materials. Create graphics, infographics, and layouts to support various training formats, including e-learning modules, presentations, and resource materials. Ensure designs are aligned with the overall training objectives and branding guidelines. Maintain consistency in design across different training modules and platforms. Revise and update visual elements based on feedback from internal stakeholders. Assist in any other design-related tasks as needed to support the training development process.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s program in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. Those studying outside these areas are still highly encouraged to apply. Must be an actively enrolled student and not received degree at time of internship start date (June 16, 2025). A strong portfolio showcasing graphic design skills (academic or personal projects are acceptable). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Identifies and aligns with WWF’s core values: Courage, Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration. Preferred Qualifications:

Subject expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred, but not required: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.) and an understanding of design principles such as typography, color theory, and layout.
