Major Function
America Is All In, a program of World Wildlife Fund (WWF), is seeking an experienced and dynamic coalition builder to serve as the initiative’s Social Media and Content Specialist. This position will play a critical role in developing a social media strategy to support the most expansive group of leaders ever assembled to advance climate action in the United States during a time when bold action is more important and more possible than ever. This role is responsible for helping the America Is All In project team develop and produce social media and member engagement content, including stories, graphics, newsletters, and videos. The Social Media and Content Associate Specialist will use analytics to inform content creation, develop new ways to expand our channels and assist the Manager of Communications in sharing impactful content across All In digital media channels.
All In members include thousands of U.S. cities, states, tribal nations, businesses, schools, and institutions of faith, health, and culture that work together to champion a whole-of-society approach to addressing the climate crisis. All In seeks to build stronger engagement by subnational and non-state actors to influence regional, federal, and international climate policy so that they can implement equitable climate action in their jurisdictions and institutions.
Responsibilities
Help the All In team grow its overall social media engagement through asset curation, video management, and the development of social media posts for existing channels. Create monthly newsletter and action alert publications featuring timely content and member stories.Work alongside the All In Communications Manager to build out a social media strategy and develop ongoing systems to keep track of and manage storytelling, photo, and video assets. Work alongside freelancers, writers, and videographers to create storytelling social media assets. This would include assisting in story development, project management, and calendar planning. Help the Communications Manager form a strategic direction for social channels through the analysis of ongoing data. Including the creation and maintenance of a monthly analytics dashboard. Draft and maintain a repository of approved social posts, with oversight, that deliver on the social media team’s engagement goals and help the organization reach new and existing audiences. Work with partners to align content from All In partner organizations and members for use in social media channels and publications.Support the larger All In Communications team with administrative work as needed. Other duties as required.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years of experience or equivalent focused on social media creation, storytelling, and communications experience. Experience running social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others. Experience with content creation products, including Canva, Photoshop, Vertical Response, and others.Self-starter with a collaborative work ethic including a willingness to reach out to teams outside of the All In and broader climate teams to foster collaboration.Strong writing and communication skills required.Strong organizational skills highly valued.
