Summary Description
The Ford Foundation’s Information Technology department seeks an Analyst to join their team. The Analyst, Grants and CRM Systems provides user and technical support for Fluxx and Salesforce NonProfit Cloud activities. The Analyst acts as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community working with IT project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design.
The Analyst serves as an escalation point for user application issues and problems reported to the Help Desk. In addition, the Analyst partners with the QA team to test software and associated processes and with the architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure that the applications fit with the roadmap and meet service level standards. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Productivity Systems.
Responsibilities, include but not limited to:
Gathers requirements, analyzes, and proposes solutions for new business requirements
Coordinates design and implementation changes with senior technical staff and consultants
Collaborates with QA team for testing new features or changes
Coordinates with the integrations team for data integration with other systems including Tableau and Workday
Provides data support for all users
Builds new dashboards and templates, as needed
Documents changes to current processes
Proactively researches and evaluates new features and relevant changes in Fluxx and Salesforce
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years of progressive technical experience in Fluxx and Salesforce/CRM
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to resolve conflicts and set appropriate expectations with business users
Excellent task prioritization and time management skills
Independent judgment and strong initiative combined with ability to collaborate in a team environment
Knowledge of Fluxx grants system, including modules and Fluxx release cadences
Knowledge of Salesforce NonProfit Success Park or NonProfit Cloud Multi-environment systems and deployment practices
Knowledge of software project lifecycle and SaaS environments
Ability to quickly learn and train on new systems and updates
Ability to set up and maintain ad-hoc reports, templates and notifications
Ability to conduct data analysis on the logged tickets and present trends and recommendations
Physical Requirements
This position is primarily a sedentary role. However, the person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to liaise with internal staff, access files, office machinery and a copy machine/printer.

Salary: The Ford Foundation is committed to practicing salary transparency. The minimum salary for this position is $96,000 and the maximum is $111,000. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of this range. The final offer is determined by a candidate’s relevant experience and our commitment to internal equity. We review global compensation on a regular basis to ensure market competitiveness and equity. The hiring range for this position has been carefully crafted in alignment with the market.
Location: This position is based in the foundation’s New York office. We operate in a hybrid model and require staff to be in the office three days per week.
