The successful candidate will provide the full range of administrative and secretarial assistance to the divisional staff. She/he will work under the general supervision of the Division Chief/Deputy Division Chiefs to assist in ensuring the smooth functioning of the MCMGS Division. Additionally, the Administrative Coordinator /Senior Administrative Coordinator supervises junior coordinators, serves as a resource for technical and administrative guidance, and participates on Fund-wide administrative committees and working groups, including those for technology reviews. She/he will also be responsible for the quality and timeliness of the work assigned to her/him:
The production of chapters for the Global Financial Stability Report (GFSR) and other complex documents with strict formatting requirements (such as FSAP documents, mission briefs, BTOs, and Working Papers)—which also incorporate multiple tables, charts in Excel and Word, and technical annexes;
oversee the preparation of detailed timelines and work schedules to ensure that the workflow of the GFSR team adheres to strict timeline and process management requirements;
Coordinate and organize with the office of the FDMD periodic meetings to discuss GFSR-related work progress; coordinate and organize with the COM Department the publication of GFSR chapters as well as media launch and other promotional events;
Help review and implement the evolving administrative processes related to management of IMF flagship publications;
Coordinate with other MCM Divisions and IMF Departments the revision, implementation, and publication of GFSR guidelines;
Manage on a timely basis the flow of review items sent for inter- and intra-departmental review. S/he will support MCMGS management and be responsible for a substantial volume of document management.
Coordinate and organize conferences and seminars organized by MCMGS, often jointly with other MCM divisions or external institutions;
Organize divisional retreats and team building activities and assist new staff with their onboarding.
Minimum Qualifications
Educational development, typically acquired by the completion of a high school diploma, or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience, is required. External candidates must have had at least two (2) of the six required years of experience in a lead role.

Excellent organizational, and administrative skills, including proven ability to deliver on short deadlines, prioritize activities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Initiative, resourcefulness, and a demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure to meet the demands of an evolving workload.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team, and previous experience working across organizational units/divisions.
Display a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow through.
Sound judgment and tact in handling contacts with staff at all levels, and utmost discretion in handling confidential matters.
A thorough knowledge of Fund organization and administrative policies and procedures, and knowledge of MCM procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to handle large word documents and perform operations in excel, including editing charts and tables.
Proficiency in using the major Fund IT applications, and an ability to leverage technology to improve work practices and communication flows.
