Function and Organizational Relationships:

the Finance Officer Performs accounts payable accounting function including receiving and matching invoices, account coding, preparation of disbursements, and accounts payable related record keeping. The Finance Officer coordinates activities with Sub-offices, bookkeeps, Warehouse Officer, and Projects Managers. The Finance Officer reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports and supporting documents for Donor on a Monthly basis.
  • Review all expenditures and ensure that they are legally accurate and within the budgets and make sure that all payments are properly charged to the projects in the accounting system according to the financial procedures.
  • Scan all supporting documents on regular basis to ensure up to data information is available as and when required.
  • Maintaining up to date files of all financial data and archives in an organized and secured manner.
  • Assist the Finance team in HQ in all audits whether external, Internal, or Project audits.
  • Performs other related tasks and duties assigned by Finance Manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Economics
  • 2 years of experience in a Finance position.
  • Good Knowledge of budget control, cash-flow, B.V.A., spending plan.
  • Computer literate with good MS Office skills in Outlook and OneDrive.
  • Good experience with accounting software specially QuickBooks Pro.
  • Analytical skills and good attention to details.
  • Experience in the humanitarian field is a plus.
  • Flaunt in Arabic and English languages, the Turkish language is a definite plus.

Technical and Work Requirements

· Microsoft office 365 Excel databases

· Technical reporting and use of Software

· Good use and knowledge of Social media

· Work is performed in an office environment.
