Action Against Hunger began working in Bangladesh since 2007 following the floods in Shariatpur and cyclone Sidr. Since then Action Against Hunger has been working to fight against hunger, malnutrition and responding to humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh. At present, Action Against Hunger is running its programmes in South-west and South-east of Bangladesh.
The activities with refugees in Cox’s Bazar started in 2009 and as gradually increased and extended to the Bangladeshi community in 5 different upazillas.
The government renewed Action Against Hungers’ registration in March 2018, FD1, for the next 10 years. Over the years, the organization has built strategic relationships with local/national partners strengthening their capacity by cross learning and extended support.
25 projects are on-going in Dhaka, Satkhira/Barguna and Cox’s Bazar.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES
The Nutrition Expert is responsible for Cox’s Bazar overall refugee and host community nutrition response support with regards to nutrition program activities, nutritional context analysis, reporting, coordination and external representation.
Your main responsabilities will be to:
Review and refine nutrition program implementation modalities and tools following changes mead by government and nutrition sector
Conduct strategic review and performance tracking of the training rollout, in addition to the capacity building of nutrition program field staffs.
Ensure quality assurance of nutrition program data that includes nutrition sector, UN- agencies and ACF internal database. Review and compilation of donor reports and ACF internal activity progress reports.
Develop case studies to be used for mentoring of nutrition program workers during supportive supervision and through peer discussions
YOUR PROFILE
You hold an advanced university degree in public health, nutrition, or any relevant field. You have around 10 years’ work experience in health and nutrition in developing country settings with a knowledge of multi donors projects.
Furthermore, you have a proven experience in developing CMAM trainings for nutrition program staffs/health workers.
Finally, you have a proven ability to work under stressful situation.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
12 months contract, according to the French legislation.
