• A coherent coordination in A-VET and extension services is established and working;
  • Public-private partnerships of A-VET and extension providers ensure delivery of relevant and high-quality services;
  • Male and female farmers and A-VET graduates learn and apply need-based agricultural knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to planning, monitoring and implementation of project activities related to Vocational Education and Training;
  • Participate in the development of vocational education programmes related to agriculture, modular programmes and implementing guidelines;
  • Coordinate the elaboration of a knowledge database for modular programmes and teaching and learning materials related to VET in agriculture;
  • Contribute to the implementation of teachers training measures based on innovative training methods in coordination with the Teachers Professional Development Center (TPDC);
  • Guide relevant working groups on learning environment and VET college physical infrastructure upgrading and work-based-learning;
  • Contribution to UNDP and SDC supported Vocational Education and Training reform agenda.
  • Provide inputs to the elaboration of project tender documents and evaluation of contractor bids;
  • Guide subcontractors, national and international consultants contracted by the project;
  • Ensure quality of performance of project implementing partners, contractors and consultants;
  • Guide managing of VET School partnerships between Georgian VET colleges and European colleges;
  • Coordinate working groups nominated by the project stakeholders;
  • Working in close cooperation with the project team, namely the Knowledge Management specialist, the Agricultural and Farming Specialist and College Development Program Consultant;
  • Provide content inputs for the project visibility;
  • Perform other duties as requested by the UNDP CO and Project Manager.

  • Advanced University degree or equivalent in education, social sciences, economics or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in VET and knowledge systems preferably in agriculture; 
  • Experience in working with public sector, private sector and donor organizations and experiences in institutional development projects;
  • Working experience in agriculture training and knowledge transfer will be an asset; 
  • Experience in working with VET college/education institutions will be an asset;
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in planning training provision to farmers and trainers will be an asset; 
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (especially MS Word and Excel, etc.). 
  • Fluency in English and Georgian (both written and oral).
